FAQ about COVID-19
Is CDRC open during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Yes, the Child Development Resource Center is open during this time.
Are parents/guardians allowed to enter the building?
At this time we are asking parents to drop off at the front door. Parents/guardians are required to wear masks at drop off and pick up and practice social distancing.
What precautions are you taking to keep children safe during this time?
A great deal of precautions -- and we are regularly updating our procedures to be in line with best practices from the Center for Disease Control, California Department of Education, Community Care Licensing Division (CCL), and the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department.
Some examples of how we have prioritized the safety of both staff and children are:
When staff and children arrive, they must wash their hands immediately
Each day before entering the building, admin perform a daily health screening and log temperatures
All toys and high touch surfaces are routinely sanitized with a safe, effective cleaner
At the end of each day staff clean their classrooms and materials thoroughly and our janitor comes in after to disinfect the entire building
Classrooms are equipped with automatic soap dispensers, no-touch water faucets, HEPA filter air purifiers, and more.
Due to COVID-19, we have had to establish new policies and procedures. Please read the following forms, sign, and return upon your first day of attendance.
