Family Events
We believe it is important as caregivers and teachers to develop a relationship with all of our children's families. We want to partner with you and your family to promote and enhance the work you do at home, as you are your child's primary teacher. Working together as a team we can give your child the best possible future. Having these family events enable children to demonstrate their experiences in the classroom, parents to meet and greet one another, and teachers to build stronger partnerships with parents/guardians.
Community support
Throughout the year, we receive substantial gifts and donations from members of the community for our students and their families. These generous gifts from donors help provide financial stability to families in need and help make sure every child at our Center receives assistance during times of need. Through these contributions, we are able to meet our commitment to our work of protecting children through our commitment to heal, support, and strengthen families in need within San Luis Obispo County. There is no way to fully express our gratitude to these agencies. We at the San Luis Obispo Child Development Resource Center are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of community members like these who answer the call to give again and again.
