Internships
Our internship program is for current undergraduate/graduate students interested in exploring our unique childcare setting. Interns gain experience in their field of study off-campus for "real-world" field experience. Interns may work closely with assigned teaching teams in the daily planning and implementation of lesson plans, assisting small groups of students, leading lessons, preparing materials, and other teaching-related duties. Psychology and/or second quarter interns may also provide interventions that redirect behaviors, provide interventions that improve client social functioning, daily living, and essential coping skills and calm-down methods as well as present specified documentation for assigned students. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children, staff, and community.
